At age 20 I moved from California to New York City with nothing more than an old suitcase and a guitar. Making my way through this urban jungle has helped define who I am, and has been the adventure of a lifetime.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the artistry and focus music required, as I grew up watching my parents perform and studied guitar with my father since age seven. I felt it was important to continue my education, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2005 from SUNY Purchase in Jazz Guitar.
I am currently working on recording a new cd with my band Thousand Faces. Writing, producing, and performing original music has been a lot of fun and has forced me to use every ounce of my ability. I draw from personal experiences and emotions to write, but I also like telling a good story. I usually see my music as pictures and colors in my mind and it has a certain feeling that I try to express. Please feel free to listen here.
I also produce tracks, and teach students of all ages, including those with special needs. To be able to pass the gift of music on to others has been a huge inspiration for me. I genuinely enjoy teaching and it makes me happy to do what I love! Click here for more info on teaching.
Recently, I secured a song placement with Sony/EMI and have also landed a publishing deal with the Royalty Network. As a producer, I draw from my understanding of many different genres and strive to best use technology and my knowledge of instrumentation to create a sound that is unique to each artist.
I enjoy nothing more than to share my music with all of you and I hope you like what you hear!
